Teams & Format
The Metro Bank Women’s One-Day Cup is a 50-over List A competition, serving as the top women's domestic one-day tournament in England and Wales. It replaces the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, which concluded in 2024. The 2026 edition is structured into two leagues:
- League One: Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Lancashire, Somerset, Surrey, The Blaze (Nottinghamshire), Warwickshire and Yorkshire.
- League Two: Derbyshire, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Kent, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Northamptonshire, Sussex and Worcestershire.
The league one format includes double round-robin matches, with the top teams progressing to the knockout stages with 2nd vs 3rd playing in the Eliminator for the right to face the side that finished 1st. League Two sees sides play each-other once and concludes with a knockout stage that includes the top four teams.
