    The Hundred is the shortest cricket format in the world. Only played in England and Wales, the competition sees each side given a maximum of 100 balls to bat and 100 balls to bowl. Games last around two-and-a-half hours. 

    The tournament sees eight teams battling to win the title. Men's and women's games are played on the same day in a double-header format at the same ground. 

    Each side plays four matches at home, and four matches away from home. This sees each side play against every other side along with a bonus match against a team's nearest rival. The team finishing at the summit goes straight to the final. The teams finishing in second and third battle in the eliminator to decide which side will progress to the final.
