Started only in the year 2024, the T20 Global Super League is a new league in the block of franchise T20 leagues. The only difference from the likes of IPL and Big Bash is that this tournament is between franchises from different countries.
The idea of the organisers is to have a tournament that will eventually replace the now-defunct Champions League for franchises.
The new tournament is likely to ring some real interest and help take forward the case of CLT20, which could be set for a relaunch.

Dubai Capitals (UAE) | The Capitals won the ILT20 in 2025 and are one of the standout sides in the club game right now. |
Hobart Hurricanes (Australia) | The Hurricanes will look to bring the all-out action of the Big Bash to the competition, with some exceptional Australian talent in their ranks. |
Central Stags (South Africa) | The dark horses of the competition, the Stags will hope to defy expectation as they enter the tournament for the first time. |
