Teams & Format
The two sides will meet in the Twenty20 (T20) format. This will see both teams given a maximum of 20 overs (120 deliveries) to bat and 20 overs in the field in each meeting. A T20 is the shortest of the three formats, with the 50 over game and Tests longer.
Matches will showcase teams trying to build a score as quickly as possible. While bowlers do often take some punishment, batters looking to score boundaries often provides the fielding team with a chance to take wickets.
Zimbabwe Women are not in the upper-echelon of the women's game, but they have been making improvements. The shorter formats can be a hard place to take on a top team, but it can be more forgiving than the longest format, especially when considering a team could win or lose an ODI or T20 based on a handful of overs.
South Africa Women have quickly established themselves as one of the best sides in the women's game. With some world class talent with bat and ball, they are the big favourites to storm to a series win in this one.
