India vs Bangladesh Third T20I
A series whitewash is on the cards for the rampaging Indian team as they look to blow Bangladesh once again. After two wins in a row, they face the visitors in the third and final T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, starting from 7 p.m. IST.

Comprehensive wins in Gwalior and Delhi put India in the driving seat to march ahead and win the series 3-0. Bangladesh needs a miracle to stop that, although this format is perhaps the best-suited for underdogs to stun the favorites. The odds are heavily in favor of the home team and have little value. Instead, I am backing the hosts in the sixes market to produce the most for the match.
- Bangladesh conceded the most 6s in their last 8 matches (T20Is)
- India hit the most 6s in 8 of their last 9 matches (T20Is)
- Bangladesh lost 15 of their last 16 matches against India (T20Is)
- Bangladesh conceded the most 6s in their last 4 matches against India (T20Is).
Head to Head
There have been 16 T20Is between India and Bangladesh so far, with 15 wins for India and one victory for Bangladesh. The last seven matches have been won by the ‘Men in Blue.’
This series saw India win by seven wickets in Gwalior and follow that up with a thumping 86-run win in the second match in Delhi. They have already won the series 2-0 and will now be gunning for a clean sweep.
India Form
India used this series for checking the readiness of their second string, and so far, they have been successful. The aggressive intent that they planned to display was on show in both matches and has been their asset.
Hardik Pandya has been a revelation with his all-round performances so far (71 runs @ 202.85 SR and ER 6.50) in the series. Nitish Kumar Reddy (90 runs @ 183.67 SR and two wickets) is also excelling for the hosts.
With the ball, Varun Chakaravarthy (five wickets) has made a grand comeback into the Indian team, while Arshdeep Singh (four wickets) continues to impress.
India Team News
Ravi Bishnoi and Harshit Rana could get a chance in this match, at the expense of Washington Sundar and Mayank Yadav.
Bangladesh Form
Bangladesh struggled in both matches, as their batting flopped and wilted under pressure. They could only score 127 and 135 in the two matches of the series.
The only bright spot has been Mehidy Hasan, who aggregates 51 runs in the series. The individual top score is 41 by veteran Mahmudullah, who will be playing his last T20I of his career here.
Bowling has been equally poor, with almost all bowlers conceding at or more than eight runs per over. Rishad Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman got three wickets each, but both have an ER of more than ten runs per over in the series.
Bangladesh Team News
Will Bangladesh make changes to their team? Mahedi Hasan and Shoriful Islam could be pitching for a game as they look to end their tour on a high.
