Teams & Format
A total of nine nations took part in the 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship run. The competition sees 69 matches played across 27 series. The top two sides at the end of the run will play in the World Test Championship Final. Each side plays in six series, three at home and three away from home. Each series contains between two to five Tests.
A total of 12 points is on offer in each Test. The winning side will secure 12 points with the loser getting nothing. A tie sees the points shared evenly, with both sides given six each. A draw sees both sides getting four points each.
