Head to Head

Peshawar has played Quetta in 25 matches so far and holds a minor edge with 13 wins to 11 defeats. One match ended without any result.

Quetta won the recent fixture, though, defeating the Zalmi by 80 runs in Rawalpindi earlier in the season. Saud Shakeel (59) and Finn Allen (53) trailblazed at the top to lead Quetta to a score of 216 for 3. Peshawar folded for just 136 in 15.1 overs, with Abrar Ahmed (4 for 42) leading the bowling unit.

Peshawar Zalmi Form

After 15 matches in the season, Peshawar are fourth in the points tally with four points (W2, L3). They are level on points with Lahore above and Quetta below them in the table.

Peshawar started the season with back-to-back losses but bounced quickly into contention with two wins over the next three games. Their last match was a seven-wicket win over Lahore Qalandars.

Mohammad Haris (193 runs, SR 170.79) continues to lead their batting charts, but Babar Azam’s return to form is highly anticipated. Ali Raza (eight) and Alzarri Joseph (seven) are leading the bowling charts.

Peshawar Zalmi Team News

Tom Kohler-Cadmore continues to flop, and the Zalmi could look at using Max Bryant.

Quetta Gladiators Form

After 15 matches in the season, Quetta are fifth in the standings with four points (W2, L2). They have the same points as Lahore and Peshawar above them but are two points above the Multan Sultans.

Quetta are coming off a five-run win over Karachi Kings, where the winning margin could have been much more if not for a late blitz from Hasan Ali. It was still a surprise win as they defended with elan.

Abrar Ahmed (eight wickets, ER 7.68) remains Quetta’s bowling star, while Mohammad Amir (six wickets) is slowly getting into his groove. With the bat, Kusal Mendis (111 runs, SR 191.37) and Saud Shakeel (99 runs) remain vital cogs.

Quetta Gladiators Team News

Quetta could use the same team that they played last time out, unless there are any last-minute injuries.
